You can't take it with you
This is Wix policy, not our opinion. A Wix site can't be exported to run anywhere else, and you can't switch template once the site is built. To change either, you start again from scratch.
The cheap year is only the first one
The half price deals apply to year one only. Wix confirms in its own terms that plans renew at the full price after that, so the fee you signed up on can roughly double in year two. Business email isn't included either, it's a separate bill on top.
You're the designer, and the support desk
The monthly fee rents the tool. Every page, every word, every fix and every update is your job. Support helps you use the builder. It doesn't make the change for you.
