The brief
1 Stop Fire Prevention is a fire safety and compliance company based in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. They provide fire risk assessments, PAT testing, e-learning courses, and managed fire safety service packages to businesses across the North East. With over 15 years of experience, 5,000+ properties protected, a 4.9/5 Trustpilot rating and under 48-hour response times, they've built a strong reputation. Their client list includes businesses across hospitality, retail, education, healthcare and commercial property. They run Google Ads campaigns driving traffic to dedicated landing pages for fire risk assessments and PAT testing in Newcastle.
What we did
We migrated every page, blog post, landing page and form with exact URL preservation so Google rankings weren't disrupted. The entire content layer was rebuilt in Directus with structured collections, field validation, live preview, and a visual editor so the team can click any text on the page to edit it inline. Blog management got a full CMS with categories, search, featured images and SEO fields. Form submissions are now stored in Directus with status tracking and automatic email notifications. Landing pages got proper Google Ads conversion tracking via a thank-you page. GDPR-compliant cookie consent was added with granular control over analytics and marketing cookies via Google Consent Mode v2.
The outcome
The 1 Stop Fire Prevention website has been fully migrated from Framer to Next.js 16 + Directus CMS. Every page, blog post, landing page and form transferred with URLs preserved. The team now has a visual editor, live preview, full blog CMS, form submission management with email notifications, Google Ads conversion tracking, and GDPR-compliant cookie consent. The fire video hero with ember particles and dark navy + fire red branding creates a distinctive identity. 9 issues from the original site were fixed including phone number mismatches, broken dates, missing alt text, and heading hierarchy problems.
