The brief
Cara Glass is a FENSA-registered double glazing installer with a wide range of products. Their old WordPress site was cumbersome and, crucially, nobody in the company could update it. An employee was handed the job of putting it right, couldn’t, and went looking for help. That is how they found us. We talked through the options, and once it was clear that a rebuild would save them time and money over struggling on in house, we set to work.
What we did
It was a big job: over 160 URLs, all needing clarity, plus Google and Facebook tracking set up properly. We built the site to direct visitors to the right quote for each of their many product lines, with SEO-optimised pages for specific areas. The owner had one worry, that the design wouldn't have enough movement and interest. The homepage design convinced him completely.
The outcome
The new site channels enquiries cleanly across every product, and Next.js with ISR means content changes go live instantly. Even the owner can edit it easily now. The site keeps growing, but far more easily, more cheaply, and without the friction they used to fight.
