From outdated WordPress to 41-page modern website
The brief
Starlight Windows is a family-run window, door and conservatory installer based in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. They've been trading for over 45 years, longer than any local competitor. Despite their experience and reputation, their website had been neglected for years. It was an outdated WordPress site with thin content, no SEO strategy, and no way to showcase the quality of their work. The business looked small online, even though they serve the entire County Durham and North Yorkshire region.
What we did
We carried out a detailed competitive audit before designing a single page. Every local competitor, from Budget Windows to Alpine to Durham Window & Door Centre, had a dated or broken website with thin content and poor search visibility. The bar was remarkably low. We designed a 41-page site that wouldn't just match the competition but operate in a completely different league. Every page was built around driving enquiries: quote forms on every product page, phone number callouts throughout, trust signals impossible to miss, and 10 dedicated location pages targeting the exact towns Starlight serves.
