The brief
Coast Consulting Engineers is an independent multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in the North East of England. Established in 2008, they've grown to 17 technical employees covering civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering. They work with developers, architects, and contractors across the UK on projects ranging from residential developments and care homes to commercial builds and geotechnical investigations. With professional affiliations including the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers, and the Geological Society, Coast has built a strong reputation in the region. Their portfolio includes over 20 completed projects across residential, care, commercial, industrial, education, and geotechnical sectors.
What we did
We rebuilt the site from scratch with a focus on professional presentation and long term scalability. Every page was restructured with proper semantic HTML and clear information hierarchy. The project portfolio was given particular attention, with category filtering and dedicated project detail pages that properly showcase Coast's engineering work. The contact form was redesigned with structured fields including a subject dropdown for better enquiry routing. Professional affiliations are prominently displayed to reinforce credibility. The entire site was built on a modern stack that Coast can grow with as they add projects, team members, and blog content.
The outcome
The new Coast Consulting Engineers website replaces the limited Framer site with a professional, scalable platform that properly represents the business. Updated company information, consistent navigation, and a well structured project portfolio give Coast the online presence their engineering work deserves. The site is built to grow with the business as they add new projects, expand their team, and publish new content.
